However, a love for the outdoors and a desire to experience new and exciting things is recommended.
At CSE emphasis is placed on service, quality, fun, and of course your personal safety. Whichever trip you choose, the staff at Coastal Spirit Expeditions is dedicated to making each trip a once in a lifetime experience. We are here to provide you with a top of the line sea kayak or cycling adventure that is educational and will inspire future adventure travel and a commitment to the preservation of marine and wild life.

YOUR TOUR DIRECTOR
tv programm jetzt Peter Whaley (owner/operator) of Coastal Spirit Expeditions is no stranger to the outdoors. At a very early age he found his sea legs and became as comfortable on the water as he did on land. Now, some 30 years later, he is an accomplished kayaker, canoeist, cyclist and skier. Peters extensive trip log has taken him to some of the most beautiful places in the world.
Peter is a graduate of the Adventure Travel Guide Program at the University College of the Cariboo in British Columbia and now holds many certifications, some of which include:
ACSKG (Association of Canadian Sea Kayak Guides)
SKGABC(Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of British Columbia)
SRT (Swift Water Rescue Technician) Instructor with Rescue 3 International
SAR (Search and Rescue) manager with PEP (Rrovincial Emergency Program)
A strong medical background in Paramedics and Advanced Wilderness first aid compliments his extensive, practical experience. Photography is also a passion, as every trip is documented and captured through his various lenses. |

QUEEN CHARLOTTE
ISLANDS This
archipelago in western British Columbia is sometimes referred to as the Galapagos of the
Pacific Northwest because of its richly unique biology and ecology. It is a veritable
candy store for the budding and even most seasoned marine biologist and ecologist. The
sheer rugged beauty of the islands pacified by its delicate intertidal zones truly makes
it a place of wonder. Close your eyes as you visit the sacred sites of Guaii Haanas and
you will feel the spirits of the Haida nation, who inhabited these islands over 10,000
years ago. Don't be surprised if you are escorted through islands by a pod of Orcas,
barked at by sea lions or followed by the spirit eagle and raven. This is a land and
seascape full of contrasts, in one moment a sea full of rage, and the next as tranquil and
serene as Valhalla. There is literally no other place on earth like the Queen Charlotte
Islands.
DATES: May 7-17, May 19-29,
COST: $ 1485 incl. tax (includes one night B&B) |

JOHNSTONE STRAIT
Each summer, pods of orcas,
both residents and transients meet in Johnstone Strait to eat, rub, spy hop, breach and
frolic. They are among the most studied, mythical mammals on the planet. As a paddler,
there is not a more exhilarating feeling than being amongst these magnificent giants of
the sea. The area, however, offers a lot more than just the "black fish."
Ancient village ruins of the Kwakwaka'wakw dot the area with one remaining village site,
Mamalilaculla, still standing. It is a region as rich in history as it is in beauty.
DATES: Sept. 3-8, Sept. 10-15
COST: $ 1095 incl. tax |
